Horrible, unlivable campus. They always film on the one day a year with a blue sky. Notice how empty the building is. It’s always like that.

The Orchestra sounds very elegant. The Solo parts are so beautiful as well.

And, can anybody say anything about the music from The Nut Cracker?

Just to start, I can say that it sounds fantastic. Also I loved the final tuning of the instruments under the supervision of the concert master. And the shake of hands with the conductor. It’s a beautiful ceremony.

As a cellist... This is as good as it gets. I've had the good fortune to play on stage at Heinz Hall. I've had the good fortune to be both within spitting distance of CMU, and the first chair for one of the best high school orchestras to come out of the state, and perhaps one of the best in the country if you believed our competition ratings.. We did this live my junior year... How many directors can believe in a high school orchestra enough to perform this IN A COMPETITION? Now, I regret the whole "grass, gasoline, and girls" emphasis I moved to in my late teens. WELL DONE, TARTANS!

Sad. Talent swamped by politically correct idiocy. What a waste.

Studied under Robert in Jr Mendelssohn. I consider myself incredibly lucky, and will never forget him or his genius. His personality was larger than life. He was Patton in the rehearsal room, and he never accepted less than the best you could give, and boy could you hear it.
