For me, I have found that a combination of a number of CAM's has helped my pain levels. I have a plan from my Exercise Therapist that combines stretching, balance, resistance and weights that I complete at least every 2-days; I try to go for a 30-40 minute walk each day; I have a massage once a month; I have Acupuncture once a month; and I have a Chiropractic adjustment once a month. This combination has allowed me to stop taking Panadol Osteo and Mobic. I have Sciatica (from the OA in my spine) so have remained on a daily low dose of Endep (Amitriptyline). I also have found that the Root Cause Protocol (RCP) has helped my pain levels immensely - increasing Magnesium and getting Minerals and Vitamins from food sources (nuts, seeds, berries, grains, Cod Liver Oil etc.) instead of synthetic sources has been key.

I should add that I have Hereditary Haemochromatosis (HH) and advanced Osteoarthritis (Stage 4) in my hips, lower spine and knees.
