What a fun idea to share books to inspire you into the spooky season spirit. I hear ya on the costume costs- my kids are growing and growing and growing - every year a new costume haha cha-ching! Oh I like the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown suggestion - my kids are little so we try to keep it light and fun and less scary. But I loved Buffy! So classic!

🎃 I made the mistake of watching E.T. with my daughter when she was young. She had fears about E.T. being in the closet at bedtime for many nights to come, possibly even years!

My 14 year old loves the spooky scary movies like scream but not the gross slasher kind, although we haven’t met her watch those. She watched all five scream movies in a weekend for her birthday.

Hey friend! I know the Halloween costumes are so expensive. These were such great movie and book selections. The Dracula book looks so interesting! I’ve only seen the movie but I bet the book is so good.😀 we love Halloweentown!🎃

@@Sunnyinthesuburbs I started reading Dracula, but unfortunately had to stop. It’s printed on bright white paper and it started giving me a headache. I’m going to try a find a copy on different paper or see if I can find it on audio. Yeah definitely one of our faves, the Halloween town movies.

The Great Pumpkin is always a favourite. The nightmare before Christmas is a great classic that works for both Halloween and Christmas. I’d also add Beetlejuice to the list.

There's a new tv series based on Percy Jackson book series on Disney+. Also in the last few years the author actually added 3 new books to the Percy Jackson series.

We travel but we tend to spend a good chunk of time in Texas. We typically stay in thousand trail rv parks. We’ve been doing this for almost 6 years. I just subbed to your channel today. It’s been a mix of content for my channel but I do have playlists. We plan to be back in Texas around August or September :)

My 9th grader has ADHD and we just did prealgebra this year. We had similar struggles with long division in elementary due to the poor working memory that often accompanies ADHD. We used the Dennison program, and it was amazing. If you run into any problems later in the year, keep Dennison Algebra in mind - it totally changed our math experience!
