You're a great teacher thank you so much. If I want to make the sleeve totally detachable (not attaching to any bodice) do I just keep both long edges straight ( don't cut the curve)? Also if I want the sleeve to be wider, how much bigger do I make those 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 square boxes for the smocking? Thank you for your help!
