There are no original Hebrew texts. God knows what the originals were and gave messages to men to place them inside of Bible books. If you doubt any parts of the word of God you are calling God a liar because the Bible says God's word is perfect and has been preserved by God Himself. Psalms 12:6-7 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

I think this conclusion can still be came about by reading the Christian version. As you said at the end, if it was God who was pierced, it should say they will mourn over him. That would solidify and make sense of THAT interpretation, but that's not what it says. They will mourn over HIM. God does not appear to be talking about Himself in 1st person and then in 3rd person. The most reasonable interpretation from my initial reading is that they will look to God, regarding the one whom they pierced, and they will mourn for the one whom they pierced, knowing God had sent him. To me this is relevant to agency, the messiah being Gods agent, to whom they pierced. When they realise it, they will look to God, and mourn for the messiah. I find this to be the most reasonable and responsible interpretation. But I am happy to hear critics.

Scripture is a teaching of the right path and of God being within. Otherwise all religions are of the same story with different characters and names but all the sane story derived from Astrology. Lessons on the right path. Whatever you call him he wasn't a God but rather a teacher

The Hebrew word used for image is tselem which truly means shadow! God made Adam (human kind) an extension and reflection of who He is. Next verse speaks of Dominion??? Later in the Hebrew text we find that we were made from the ground that we walk on plus God put his spirit (himself) in us. We truly were made to reflect him! Hallelujah!!! We're also made to funtion and operate like him. Jesus tells us that we will do greater things then him??? How so, well, if his spirit is in us and we've been born again we can do what he did plus more because His Spirit is in us!!! God is soooko AWESOME!!!

Mr. Benner, I have a question. I have been watching your videos for a few weeks and I have to say that I am both impressed and grateful, I also wanted to know where we got our understanding of what pictographic paleo Hebrew letters actually mean. I noticed that for the letter ק qof, it says that the picture represents a sun on the horizon and that it is commonly used to symbolize “condense, circle, time”. To me the pictograph looks more like a wilting flower, which I could reconcile with the symbolism, but it honestly to me does not look very much like a sun on the horizon. I just wanted to know where our understanding of the pictographs come from, how solid our understanding of them is. I again am grateful for your teachings, you offer them for free and it is very generous of you.

We Jews don't say either of them, we replace it with the name Abraham used to call him: Adonai (The master of the world) every time we see the 4 letters, as it's forbidden to pronounce his name (1 of the 10 commandments).

Oo = Hoo Oh (English) = Ey (Persian) = Ya (Arabic) Ya Howa (Arabic) = Ey Oo (Persian) Howa/Hoo = The pronounce of Abrahamic Gods. Hoor / Hoora / Ahura Mazda = The name of the Zoroastrian god. This video was absolutely brilliant in its development and visual presentation. The only problem I found was the visualization of the Heh in the Modern period. Here the author mistakenly used the Het instead of the Heh in the visual presentation but not the narration.

If you quote a verse of the Bible, you need to do it correctly, and you did not. There is only ONE instance of Elohim and not four in the Hebrew text. You might get away with it addressing people with no access to Hebrew, but you are indeed lying about it to try to get people to accept your idea but it is not the Truth. You obviously have no idea about what the reality is. Just like saying 'ehyeh asher ehyeh' translates as 'I am who I am' shows your ignorance of things. Ehyeh is in the future tense and therefore does not translate as 'I am' but actually is 'I will be'. Every living being can say 'I am', but only God can state " I WILL BE". There appears to be major flaws in your research. You need to learn properly before attempting to teach. Right now you most certainly are not qualified in any way, shape, or form.

That's a joke, if you write "ancient Hebrew" in the title, you just CAN'T say that 'ayin is silent. It is in modern Hebrew, not in ancient Hebrew! Just write "modern Hebrew alphabet" in the title if you want to describe modern pronunciation, in which no one who looks for "ancient Hebrew" is interested in!

Don't mean to sound pedantic, but of course not learning the accents in Greek or omitting them will result in a misaccented pronunciation of the Greek. It is ἀγγέλων θεοῦ, the first part being the genitive plural. But I digress....... Interesting video nonetheless, sir, and very important to textual criticism and comparison. I myself am trying, hopefully not in vain, to be something of a Biblical and Classics scholar, and videos such as these as are very helpful, indeed.

I believe that it is essential to remember that the original Hebrew of the Bible never had vowels. These were added later by the Masoretes and so in Moses time there is no way under heaven that the name יהוה would have been pronounced as Yehovah. It does not make sense. Besides no religious Jew would ever ever say that name out of respect. Abraham did not use it when speaking to God, face to face and neither did Moses; they addressed Him as Adonai ינדא. And Yeshua told His own disciples they should call Him Aveenou אבינו, which means "Our Father". I do not know how you were reared up but, in my father's house, the kids did not call him by his first name. There is only One God, so what use is there to argue about one name? God uses a few hundred different ones in the Bible to reveal different aspects of Himself. So mankind knows better than God? Our focus should not be to seek glory by pretending we have greater knowledge than others, but rather to use whatever knowledge God grants us to show glory to Him. We are all insignificant in comparison to Him, not one of us has reason to glory about anything, all we have He gave us. Be thankful and stop wasting time in futile and useless arguments.

If there is no vowels in the YHVH then why don't these so-called rabbis calling it Yevehe or Yuhuvu or Yovoho or Yivihi or even Yuvohi ...LOL...there is no proper pronunciation.
