I can only imagine how he feels. But try to switch down to a different model less CC till you practice and get the hang of things. Rules of the road #1

Another example of why riding during the day, in peak city traffic, is a bad move. Way too many variables. Late night (after 12am) rides only, dude.
@Dat_Ninja_Markie792 күн бұрын
First thing as a new rider he shouldn’t even tried that and the second you guys could look at the bike closer to the guard rail. You are too close to the road you might get hit. I’m glad he is ok though. Now go home and eat a big ass bowl of PHO 🍜.
@tjyoung10753 күн бұрын
Why is he on the hwy. Most states you need a year or a Full License to ride on the hwy.
@jonasrueda41953 күн бұрын
At least he was riding slowly and didn't cause too much damage to his bike. Beginner riders shouldn't lane split when trying to stay with their group. Just know where the next destination is located and you will all regroup.
@Sas36035 күн бұрын
Riding is dangerous enough but then you want to become totally dumb and do something to ADD to the danger?!?!?! From one biker to the world, stop being stupid. Its not worth it.

Imma be the comment that says you learn from your mistakes don’t be so hard some very highly experienced riders have lost their life’s so let’s not be so hard you win some and lose some but betcha he won’t do that again. Lesson’s lessens chances of you learning from that lesson again lol ride save bro

This is why especially as a beginner I tried not to ride with some people. They'd take off and u don't know the road. U feel bad falling behind slowing people up. Sometimes I still tell people not I can't ride with ya I can't keep up lmao
@Johnelilopez9 күн бұрын
Thats what happens when you listen to your “friends” & instead of getting a smaller CC bike you get a powerful bike go group riding & lane splitting all as a beginner. Stop trying to look cool, go get some parking lot practice + an MSF course & learn the right way or learn the hard way, your choice…smh
@JamesMurphy-ry2mx12 күн бұрын
From my experience you’re safer when you ride alone. Travelling in group can get you out of your comfort zone and you might take chances you wouldn’t normally take.

Who in their right mind would ride a bike as powerful as that as a beginner, stick to small bikes when learning then get a bigger bike as time passes. I still prefer smaller bikes around town.

Only has himself to blame...if he is a new rider he shouldnt even be on such a crowded highway, on a bike with mirrors you cant see out of at all....cmon, go get some experience before playing roulette on the highway. He is lucky that is all that happened. He should be glad he didnt damage a car or crack a case on his bike....it could have cost a TON more and he could have been hurt so much more. Yeah, it was basically a tip over, but I have seen so many like that where the motor case gets cracked or the rider breaks his ankle.... Other thing is to get away from the scene if you can, especially if no motorist is involved, as if Highway Patrol comes, they will give you a ticket for single vehicle accident....you need to move on if no one is hurt....

@@MotoPhoTrio I get that... i had a 2002 MV Agusta F4 750, riding it back to Newport News from Virginia Beach after getting a new set of tires installed. Traffic thru the HRBT was backed up to Granby (which if you don't know, is several miles, and could take 30-45 minutes of stop and go). I was watching the temp gauge on the bike, and when it started to get towards the red, I decided to lane split as far as I could to keep the bike from overheating. I lived in California for decades, so I was used to lane splitting, and did it without causing any drama to myself or the cars I was passing.

@@MavicAir1 Lane splitting helps motorcyclists reduce their risk of being rear-ended. They can slip from a stationary lane and flow forward between slow or stopped traffic. Plus, since a motorcycle occupies the same lane space as a car, it can help ease congestion. Motorcycles can get a bit hot when idling in traffic. Lane splitting lets them catch a breeze and avoid overheating. Studies show that lane-splitting motorcyclists are injured less frequently than non-lane splitters.
