Will start working on my neighbour's Kelpie, I've been walking him for a year now, he lost weight (he was very fat), but he has definite hip problems, he doesn't walk right, and the back legs are still not strong enough. When he pees, he doesn't lift his leg up high enough, either through pain or tight muscles. I got him used to a muzzle now over the last few days, whilst I brush him, because he nips at you when touching his right back leg, or when trying to do his nails (they are way too long). I will need to be very patient with him. The owner usually has to sedate him at the vets to do the nails, but he trusts me a lot now, I'm sure I can help him. I like your gentle approach. Another video I watched, the man was too rough, I couldn't do that.

Thank you for the informative video. My Wire Fox Terrier has DM, we had genetic testing and I am looking for ways to keep him as active as possible. I will look for a Vet/ Physical Therapist who can prescribe the best program. Thank you again.

Very hard to find a local physio for dogs but think I have found a good team in Almería only an hour away. But as you say be in touch with your professionals. This was a very informative video thank you for this! Our vet sent us home with papers that tell us to do range of motion with our dog but no explanation of what exactly is required to do or how to do range of motion. Again thank you:)

Can a dog with loose ligaments still perform range of motion exercises?

Is this dog sleeping or he just that relaxed?

Are these exercises the right ones for a torn ligament at the top of their front leg. Plus it is a Ridgeback, who is not using that leg at all.
