whats the object you use to scrape the yarn off the rug after you shave?

Hello (: that is just a pet lint scrapper tool, you can get one from the pet isles of a store or one on Amazon. There are better versions than the one I am using but it does the job which is to removed excess strands that aren’t glued into the back of the rug!

How do you match colors?

Hi Marcus! So usually I just eye ball it. I don’t have a swatch sample board of colors I’ve used and favored, but usually when I draw my design on my iPad, I bring it with me and try to hold my yarn up to the image and get the best match I can. I am however about to start ordering online, so pray for my sanity in color picking through digital color swatches 😂😂😂

What program do you use on the computer to project onto the toughing

Hi Sharon! So for my tufting, I use a MacBook, and I save the image to the device and then I open it in the preview app. Usually when you double click the downloaded image it will come up in a display window on any device! From there I have an hdmi I run to the projector. Hope that helps.
