finally went for LEM 1000 as it has open side for bigger projects. I am very happy.

To the videographer: you are mentally ill to need to inappropriately add Hollywood Fantasy Music to this real life tool use explanation. WARNING MUST BE WATCHED MUTED BECAUSE OF INAPPROPRIATE MIND NUMBING VOMIT INDUCING BACKGROUND MUSIC. What is wrong with you people who need your feeble minds constantly inundated with this Tweedledee Tweedledum Ga Ga Pooh background music?

Would you be able to tell me what is being measured at 2:40?
@ivanleathercraft4 ай бұрын
It actually showed how many holes should be punched. The liner and outside piece of leather used different size pricking iron.
@Steven-v5p4 ай бұрын
What is the minimum thickness that the leather needs to be? I need to roll out some train case trim, but it would be pretty thin.
@ivanleathercraft4 ай бұрын
For best result, we would recommend at least 4oz. (1.6mm) thickness. You can try thinner and see if you like how it looks.

Can you use it as a strap cutter? Seems so. I need something like that to cut 2.5cm wide straps
@ivanleathercraft4 ай бұрын
This lace cutter is not ideal for cutting strap. I would recommend using the strip ease to cut leather straps. Here's the link: www.ivan.tw/products/craftplus-strip-ease

Good tutorial. 1/2" pretty big.. I rarely use something that wide.. how does the lace cutter do with 1/8"th inch lace??
@ivanleathercraft2 ай бұрын
@@Terry-n1i It's the same principle for 1/8". You only need to put blades in between all spacers :)

Great workmanship!!! I would like to know where you got that pen to mark your stitching holes with- I'm having problems finding anything that actually marks leather and it's extremely aggravating. Any help would be appreciated- Thanks!

Beautiful work. Can this coaster stand the heat for coffee or tea mug ? Is this "Fiebing Pro resist" water and heat resistant ? I am thinking to make something for hot drink.
