I regularly buy from Ali Express and unlike what you said in the video 99.9% you are not buying direct from the supplier, they are simply resellers. Revisions of PCBs is common and the reason for fhe color change is the interface clip revision which will have different colors. Compade the two, the interface is different. Its either a older revision of the one you have or vice versa, or its from a different manufacturer that the supplier used. Lithium batteries are dangerous and really everyone should have a basic understanding of BMS circuits which is what that pcb ultimately is, and not rely on opening up orginal batteries as the balancer may use a different interface port that differs in configuration to that of the orginal battery. Id be more concerned about the cells people are buying dirt cheap from Ali express. Since China make very few quality lithiums themselves, most of the LG, Sony, Panasonic and Samsungs are fake reclaims or china made but fake wrapped which not only are under capacity often not rated to handle the amps the quality branded ones are capable of constantly outputting and not just short bursts. A lot of the cells are reclaimed from recycling, and simply cleaned, grinded away the welding marks on the bottom of the battery and on the metal top cap (positive rail) they dont need to grind the welding marks away because thry simply replace the top metal cap, then use a new insulation ring and shrink wrap it any brand they wish. Since most people dont know how to test lithiums it's easy to get away with. Spotting a fake can be impossible to tell by visual inspection if its a quality fake, but generally a good tale tell is a tiny nm dent on the bottom, the weight of the battery doesn't match that of the datasheet, the ohms internal resistance are not within datasheet spec, and of course the capacity itself Generally any decent branded battery under the £2.50 to £3.50 mark each, they are highly fake, unknown cells are fine for low powered devices but power tools, no no. The best cells are imported from Japan and South Korea, and only some quality good ones are made in china and they never cost a dollar each 😂

Hello, uhm, i got the Zastone version of these years ago, and i’ve decides to start using these for a while, i dont know anything about radios, but i was wondering, do you know how i could modify the antenna so it has more range to receive and send signals? Or how to mod them in any way, i havent been able to find info on these either, Thank you in advance! Also, i tried pressing the + button for a while to hear other frequencies, but i only hear static. These radios have been great! Btw great video, i might try and program the radios

After mounting the ZB to the Zulus, how do you mount the unit to your rifle's picatinny rail?

I have a couple of the Zastone X6 version of these and I absolutely love them. Amazing distance with great audio and they also have a scan feature on channel 16 same as the Baofeng 888s,which is another great radio. But the size of these with the power and features they have is a bit of a treat for a great price. It's kinda funny to have a good speaker mic on it that is bigger than the radio but why not, right?

Don't know why weihrauch didn't put a picatiny rail as standard..or why they didn't supply a metal adapter one.. The hw100 is a classic of its time and im a fan.. agree its no light weight but you can feel the quality in it and when you think of it the ltd edition is still cheaper than some other rifles out there..

Anyway thank you for the interesting lessons I learned alittle more today and it seems that with time we will not be able to stick with one firmware or another because bugs and purposefull detores in the new versions make it difficult to keep your equipment working as it should, so you have to take it all with a grain of salt. Thanks for taking a look at the ZB Adjustable mount, however I think you should put it the other way around on the Zulus just like you fit the Zulus mount? The mount of the Zulus is created like that to bring the Zulus to the back. I would like to hear your reaction on this!

Having number 174 I think that picatiny rail is utterly rubbish and wobbly when a scope is fitted ended up fitted adaptor to pic. Definitely get shooting it that stainless steel loves jsb heavies

If you program these to proper band frequencies they are amazing. I am able to hit a repeater near me with it on high power with no problems. For vehicle to vehicle they are also excellent. They can do CTCSS and Offset.

I got a pair of these. Yes they need to be reprogrammed to the PMR-446 frequencies using Chirp otherwise they may interfere with emergency services. Nice video. Thanks. The frequencies for the U.K. are on Wikipedia.
