@@thibaudherbert3144 No, no. I'm talking about a bartender. Bartender is there to serve me drinks. That's his job and that's why I might want to sit at a bar. I highly appreciate a bartender's show as long as he's using those movements to work on my drinks. But if he keeps me waiting just because he's showing off and loses my time on making useless movements, he sucks and doesn't deserve his money.

@@vladimirmach6145 you do realize that you are watching a video from a flair competition? It is litteraly just flair, just "showing off" as you call it. So that alone makes you look quite stupid. In fact it is the same as cooming to a circus and saying: "I just came here to see elephans, so get those jugling clowns of the stage!". No real bartender will do this in a club that is swamped or bussy. Also bartenders works in diffrent enviroments and they adapt to that (like any other person). So if you just want a quick coctail he might trow in few moves (once again based on situacion) and just get you your drink. If there are few people sitting at a bar who are there just to see his flair skills he will do just that till he can. Why? First he will make tips of them, and second he will sell more drinks. I work as a bartender myself, but in a restaurant. That's not a place for flare so even if I had skills I wouldn't do it. There'sno space for that and coctails are really rare compared to lets say wines. Also people come to restaurants to eat not to have a drink most of the time so no one is ussually at the bar except waiters. So moral of the story - time and place. This is a flare competition. Time and place to show off your flair moves. If he started doing this in a restaurant I work he would either knock out alot of glasses because of space limitations or just get waiters angry and lose tips for them.
