Just dropped in to say I had a cavity sliding door issue. The door is designed exactly like the vid. Even had the little spanner! Needless to say I followed these instructions and the door is now fixed. Thank you!

Awesome advice to paint the ends, bottom and top before nailing the replacement cladding in. I'll be using the multitool as well to cut the old stuff out. Much easier than using a skill saw.

What about adjusting it forward or backwards? Our bathroom door has a recess that it should fit into when the door is closed door misses it by a few mm.

Any tips on stopping it from rattling in the cavity, mainly does this when closed and the breeze comes through it rattles and can get rather annoying.

Going to have to do this myself soon and your video was a huge help, thanks!

Every instruction given is a gem - the multitool, where to place the nails, etc. Made my first ever weatherboard replacing job so easy (only time I had a problem was if I did NOT follow one of your instructions!). Thank you so much - and I got myself a multitool out of it too, which is a little ripper and is going to be so useful for so many jobs.

I have problem in door openings ( jambs studs) When I have long wall 4-5 metrs and is door opening in the middle,if is bow on the one jambs stud is changing my revels on square set door jambs

How big of an area can you cover?

Thanks for the info. I have a similar lock to yours and tightened then used the two adjustment screws to reduce the movement when locked but there is still a small movement with the adjustent scews as far as they can go. Any ideas please?
