This man and his band Pearl Jam have literally saved my life on too many occasions to count. I wish I could personally tell him but I gave up on that pipedream long ago. Their music is too important to me to ever give up....

Did y'all see the interview where Ed talks about the letter he wrote him? Beautiful speech by Vedder...Having lost both parents and two dogs in the last 6 years I can relate to the pain

My brother took his own life last summer after struggling with depression... we grew up around Seattle and often bumped into the Pearl Jam guys on Capitol Hill.. while neither of us were big fans we always appreciated their stances on ticket prices .. fund raisers ...etc.. I wrote some songs about my grief and it does come in waves and sometimes it seems like you’re drowning ..... I’ll never get over how he chose to end his life but I inherited his giant music collection and try to find solace in music

Bless his heart. He does put a lot of positivity out into the world, but grief comes in waves and you never know when it’s going to really hit you.

The "Jam" are testament to the fact that if you stay together (as a group) long enough, you get damn good at what you do, as was proven last night @ the Moda. Pearl Jam has got to be the Pacific Northwest's "Beatle's" ! ❤👍

Why do some people who have reached the status they always dreamed of never accept it? When fame becomes a drug you cannot seem to quit, it truly is time to quit.
