no till will always be the better option even if the yields are less because you get so many other benefits like having way less input cost. regenerative agriculture has lower yields but way higher profit margins overall. Gabe Brown has tons of scientific data and the profits to prove that. his soil organic matter is high, his water infiltration is high, his topsoil depth is growing each year etc. even if profits were lower, we cannot sustain this petro chemical agriculture system forever. the soil needs poop not petroleum lol. ive never seen a petroleum animal running along fertilizing the prairies, but i see wildebeests, or in America back in the day Bison and pronghorn by the millions spreading their NPK all over the land. if we cant produce food while also building soil fertility we are screwed, and every year conventional agricultural land loses top soil and organic matter which leads to desertification. we can create deserts or we can create lush fields or forests of abundance, all without ever spraying anything.

Hello Ravindra, thanks for your question. I am a Bayer TFA at the Water Utilization Learning Center in Gothenburg, Nebraska, USA. There are insecticides available to control soybean stem borer adults. However, since the insect is usually present during an extended period of time in the growing season, the control of adults could require multiple applications. A few strategies that US farmers use are: harvest the soybean crop as soon as it reaches maturity to reduce the losses associated with lodged plants; assure a good weed control as certain weed species (ragweed and cocklebur) are hosts of the insect; rotate crops in the field (do not plant soybean after soybean); avoid planting soybeans in an adjacent area where the infestation happened in the previous year; till the soil in the fall right after soybean harvest to increase mortality of the insect during winter; and, use a trap crop like sunflowers along the border of the soybean field.

@@praveentiwari7158 yes..two chemicals are effective on girdle beetle, one you can take thiamethoxam 25% wg, second is Beta-Cyfluthrin + Imidacloprid (bayer solomon) thiamethoxam 25 % wg worked really well, controlled new infestation for almost 20 days.. In second spray i mixed both the above chemicals ,results is awaited as i did second spray few days ago only.
