Let me tell you something about T-Hall. He is the most motivated and hard working person I know. Let’s go deep. Cut to 6th grade. I don’t know this kid but he comes up to me and he wants to play 1 on 1 in basketball. I say sure. I beat him like 11-0 or 21-0 or whatever it was. He wasn’t discouraged. He wanted to keep playing. The next year we are on the basketball team together and we win the championship. (Shout out Pueblo) 8th grade we got 2nd in the district. By this point Tyler has become a great friend. We’ve gone through battles together. Our favorite food to eat was Mac and cheese and tortillas. We went to the chocolate festival one year where Tyler would go up to people with chocolate smeared all over his face. Then he’d ask people “Do I have like a little bit of chocolate on my face?” People looked at him crazy! Then it was time for high school at Corona. School rolled around and we were tight. We even had a class together. This helped make the high school transition easier. (I was an anti social weirdo kid) About 2 weeks into the school year Tyler moved to Utah. I was disappointed but wished him the best. Cut to after college. Tyler and I reconnected. He moved back to Arizona! We played 1 on 1 on multiple occasions. We were in our early-mid 20’s. I couldn’t beat him. His shot was pure. He was strong and in great shape. I couldn’t score. I will never forget these moments and it motivates me to work harder. Now I must improve my game so when I see Tyler again I can beat him. My high school coach always said “When you’re not working someone else out there is and when you meet him he will beat you.” It couldn’t be more true.

Bad take. Scott is wildly unique and Chad did a great job leading the interview and asked questions I would’ve loved to ask myself.
