Fortunately for Khourieh's prospects in the future but unfortunately for her situation now until she repents, Christ DID pay our debt and DID take our punishment. This is what the Bible teaches and the Fathers proclaim it as well. Read Romans 5: Christ saved us from God's wrath. How? Read Psalm 87(88): He bore it. What does this mean for us? Read Galatians 3: He saved us from the curse by being cursed for us. Whoever does not believe this is denying an essential aspect of the Gospel. I mourn for those who teach others to deny it, because not only do they lead their own souls to destruction, but additionally, those they led astray, on the day of their condemnation, will be able to scream a final testimony wherein, as they are cast away, they say "It was Kh. Frederica who taught us this!!" What horror that will be. The Antiochian Church follows the New Calendar, they often have pews, no prostrations, women in immodest clothes, no hair cover....THEY ARE PROTESTANTS

That is not entirely true. Many of us do veil, we do prostrations during lenten services and during liturgies when the Holy Trinity is mentioned or other instances. Yes there are pews, but that's in many jurisdictions. Furthermore, as far as modesty goes, this is an issue not just in our jurisdiction. In many greek churches, it is unfortunately the same. However, this usually comes from people that aren't really deep orthodox but nominal. We have a paper at the door saying that women and men need modest attires. Perhaps a little less judgment.
