I didn't even know this horse but there were tears in my eyes when i watched this! At least he past doing what he loved! But now he is in heaven running with all the other past horses! Maybe even running with my horse who past recently!

Lets not stoop to sarcasm please. Maintain some class. I am entitled to my opinion same as everybody else here.

it has been noted that artery bursts can happen in the field as well, so should we stop letting our horses out in the paddock too?
@annamariabenaglia30612 жыл бұрын

"it happens", if "it happens" then perhaps he shouldn't have been competing. If "it happens", then no horse should be jumping. That way it doesn't happen.
@unnamed7953 жыл бұрын
No? This can happen in the stables or in fences too

I'm going to agree to disagree and leave it at that.

Wow, you curse me out for posting my own opinion and then delete your comments where you cuss me. Don't want anyone to come down on you for whipping your horse? " Wow, I can't even your so ridiculous its almost funny. I dont force my horse to do anything. Yea I use a whip boo fucking hoo. Cry me river. SO does every other rider on this planet, well a good majority of them. So no, you can back up and shu" And that's where your comment cut off. So deleting your comment only worked a little bit.

I think we just need to agree to disagree on this. No matter what I say its not going to change what you think, and quite frankly I dont really care what you do. Soo yea this is annoying. Kay bye.

I pay respect to the horse, and nothing else. At least we all can see who you'd put first in a competition, yourself. It's people like you that disgust me maddam. It's the owners that forced that poor horse to do things that hurt him. I bet you whip your horse too don't you. And when your horse doesn't jump for you or do what you want, you whip it don't you? Step back and shut up, this comment page is only for the people that know what they're talking about.

I watched the video where he died at the world cup, it wasn't an artery, the horse had a sezure! Sezures are braught on by stress. dumbass owners!!!

Not everyone is crule and forces their horses to compete. Not everyone is rich either. Truth is horses like to run and jump, thats what they were made to do. Yes some people take it too far but you know what? There are good people. My riding teacher was having money problem and could have taken an offer to start over but she stayed because there was a horse epidmic where I live and many horses died. She helped by taking care of the heathy ones so the sick could be looked at without complication.

If people didn't push these animals these things would't happen.How dare these smug humans make these animals go through such things? They should be outlawed, and their wealth should be put to good use like feeding homeless people who have lost their jobs due to these rich bastards.

he died during the world cup competition. You can see it on here, but it was sad because it was on national tv and he had a heart attack while his rider was riding him in the ring. R.I.P. HICKSTEAD
