The sea level rose by 0.014ths of an inch in the making of this bowl to store fruit.
@scottcurda323212 күн бұрын
Yeah, but the argument for why this is important is that this bowl’s owner will understand its value and will keep it for many years as opposed to the people that buy a dozen throw away items whose collective production raises sea level 0.026”.

What’s with sliding the rods back across the arm rest constantly? Not rolling forward and back, but right then left

"constantly"? not sure I understand. can you identify a time where this happens?

there's somebody blowing into the pipe. he pulls it to the right to eliminate the pressure without having to ask for them to stop blowing. that means he can do it immediately - there's no time lag.

Cool! I knew there had to be a reason why! Thanks for reading and answering, I appreciate it

It is also to prevent the bench from drawing heat from the moil(the glass left on the blow pipe) so it won’t crack prematurely.

John - Your demo videos are really nicely shot. I've taken about a dozen summer courses in Corning but stopped making videos simply because I think I learn more if I'm not concentrating on getting the perfect shot. That doesn't mean I don't appreciate others' efforts. Thanks. I do like watching Dante work. Maybe I'll run into you in Corning someday. Or let me know if you're ever in Brooklyn and want to blow glass. I work at Pier Glass every weekend. (I've posted a few first-person glass blowing videos on my channel - powellscottglass.) Thanks again.
