Great video!! I've been crocheting since I was a child, and I've never heard of this until recently.. love this easy to understand video. It was the "shoe lace" part that set it in stone for me, so thanks for this ☺️🫶🏽

Why not secure one end and just pull the other end? It seems pulling both ends only works if you are just joining 2 squares. What am I missing?

Wow! While I have read,seen,heard so many times that the slip stitch DOESN’T count in the stitch count, I never understood that it should totally be ignored in the next row. This was SO helpful for me. Thank you!

I've been looking through videos on youtube for hours and can't find a single video that tells you how to tie off the seam yarn. Why isn't anyone explaining that?
@debpfleiger803Ай бұрын
I couldn't find any videos for that either, I've been looking too. That's why I don't do anything that needs to be sewed together so I'm limited to what I make.

I didn't understood anything sorry 🙃 you don't know to explain well , and your to fast, if you can't explain properly the what's the use to post the video, sorry

There are 2 things to do to make it work. 1. Make sure the needle "doors" are opening when they are not capturing the yarn. I wiggled them back and forth gently to loosen the hinge on the needle. This made the needle door fall open when it's supposed to. If it's closed when it's supposed to capture the yarn, it will skip the stitches. 2. It needs very steady tension. I used a sewing machine tension replacement part to create uniform tension. Those two things made it work beautifully.

Hi, thank you for the video . I bought some multicoloured yarn, similar to that first yarn you used. Your video was great to watch and understand. I have crochet for a long time. This yarn I bought is so soft and gorgeous, I am hoping to make a couple of baby blankets with it. Thank you.
