Those reservation horses are proving to be good stock. They’re not really big, but they’re sure footed, focused, aware of what’s going on around them, and have heart to give their all. Cash might work very well for a young rider…and help train others. Yes, he might test a young rider, but if she’s got some experience and some starch to not let him get away with shenanigans, they’ll be a perfect fit. Hombre needs some more meat on his bones to pack, but he’s very young and will just keep getting stronger with some nutrition. Most of the res horses I’ve seen at Alan’s do get stockier as they mature, and Hombre probably will also. Alan got him at auction, so I’m not sure how much of that bloodline he has, but I’m under the impression he came off of the Navajo Reservation (not sure why I’m thinking that 😂) Alan also has a couple of other prospects you could certainly look at. I love Hombre'! Yes, he is taller. He's gonna have to be weaned into what you intend for him as you know he was very weak, starved, almost died from that neglect, etc., (his name translates to "Hungry") when Route 66 rescued him this summer... his muscles need reconditioning and stregthened and gain some more wt, esp., in his neck. Hombre' is very special to us... we love him, he's resilient, tough, sweet and a beauty! He needs some lovin attention, proper nuturing and unconditional love... 🦋💞🦋

As long as Cash, or any horse, is not ever given or sold to the Amish... sick and tired of seeing Amish horses, young, old, injured, sick neglect care and starved at slaughter kill pens! For all the strenuous hard labor these beautiful horses... Souls' perform for them every day, and when the above-mentioned occurs they, without respect, honor, value, or unconditional love, sell them to their terrifying and cruellest method of doom... Looks like the perfect place to train! I probably started a bit too late last year or lacked adequate discipline, but I did not lose the extra weight before r2r. I started riding at 6 years old, ive worked at probably 5 local stables in my life and a racetrack. Ive owned 2 of my own horse's. And since im 61 now, i lease horses. Its cheaper and less work 😊 But yes i was blessed to grow up around horse's. And still be healthy enough to ride. 😊😊😊

My favorite horse 🐎 was my 17.2 hands gelding thourobred Shane. Hes passed on. So now its jigsaw and hes a black and white paint gelding. Hes a lease horse 🐎 😊 i don't own him. 😢
