Thank you very much for these guided meditations Ajahn Brahmali. I have been struggling to meditate, due to tremendous remorse over my actions, and this is incredibly helpful. We are so grateful to you. Thank you so much.

Is that black Buddha statue a "political correctness" statement in the UK?

Here are some bits of food for thought: The most important idea about "Right View" is that there are two levels of right view: (1) mundane right view and (2) supra-mundane right view. Understanding their differences is important. Why is the "Four Noble Truths" NOT part of the mundane right view? Why is a complete understanding of the Four Noble Truth such a lofty goal & monumental attainment, achieved by so few people? Why do "true" Buddhists accept "Rebirths & Karma" as a fundamental belief? Why the so-called "Secular Buddhists" who reject the idea of "Rebirth" cannot be regarded as true Buddhists? Why did the mundane right view lead to evolution of "Mahayana Buddhism"? The mundane right view also helps to deal with everyday issues, including politics. For example, one who embrace Buddhist mundane right view would naturally abhor genocide, ethnic cleansing and double standards of politicians; would denounce violent rioters wherever they fan unrest in the name of "fighting for democracy"; would see the nature of "personal freedom" in issues like gun control, banning TikTok, abortion, tattoos, etc. Finally, the process of attaining "right View" is really a form of gradual "self brainwashing" - to get rid of all forms of erroneous mental conditioning & biases one accumulated, in this life and previous rebirths.

black people have terrible karma. We should learn acceptance as the black will have to reap more of what it has sown. Be kind to your local black, it still is a living creature.
