Thanks Ben for sharing this , it took almost more then hour but was able to do it after following the video, need more videos like that or if you can recommend some best courses on talend from basics to advanced level that would be great from Udemy or KZbin. Thanks again!

What about the error "launcher was unable to launch companion"? I have 3 JDKs, and my version is 7.1.1

I'm not sure about this error. You can try to troubleshoot and uninstall all but ONE of your JDK's.

Does this mean Talend can't support windows authentication?

You can set up Talend to support windows authentication as well, there are different steps and a different process to do this.

Merci Monsieur pour la vidéo et bonne continuation , j'ai un problème lorsque je crée la connexion base de données en talend et je teste la connexion, un message d'erreur s'affiche : Echec de la connexion. Vous devez modifier les paramètres de la base de données. Malgré j'ai rempli correctement. Aidez-moi s'il vous plait !

Without more detail, I won't be able to help you debug your error. You may need to make sure your database is compatible with talend open studio 8, double check your TCP settings and username/password? Sans plus de détails, je ne pourrai pas vous aider à déboguer votre erreur. Vous devrez peut-être vous assurer que votre base de données est compatible avec talend open studio 8, revérifier vos paramètres TCP et votre nom d'utilisateur/mot de passe ?
