In my 37 years of life, he is the greatest horse I've ever seen. People want to compare him to Secretariat. Don't. Secretariat is the greatest of all time, but I want to point out some statistics that get lost in all this comparison. His combined time in all three races is the second fastest of all time, behind Secretariat. His last quarter mile was faster than Secretariat's at the Belmont. He may be the second greatest racing horse in American history. He may very well be the second greatest triple crown winner. Citation and Slew are normally ranked second and third respectively, but the statistics bare out that AP is second.

What I love most about AP in this race and the Belmont is the way he runs...with his ears pricked forward, like he is just out for a Sunday jaunt...he does look like he enjoys it, and i certainly can't say that for most.

Alot of people don't understand how difficult it is to win the triple crown. When you have so many really really good horses at any given time to take one horse that stands above all the rest takes a very special horse...you have to have all of the Stars aligned and then you have to have a horse like Justify than can run like he did to win the triple crown...the odds are basically like winning the lottery....and Justify had all of the elements of a champion...just an amazing horse.....🐎🐎🐎
