I wish the government will be even more aggressive in implementing suggestions coming from bodies like ICFA. Importantly govt should give a serious thought in areas where very high farm related subsidies are extended. Example, the R.O.I the govt gains in providing capital expensive solar pumpsets and in giving a 5 to 10 ton capacity mini comd storage facility, we can easily conclude a cold storage infrastructure will give almost a 10 fold R.O.I. But sadly in india, the bureaucracy has their own thought process in implementing well justified solutions

To over come the problem we must try to implement some GREEN IDEAS /TECHNOLOGY./BEST PRACTICES Eco-friendly gravity based siphon lift irrigation technology on community percolation tank for prosperity of small and marginal farmers with their fragmented lànd holding based on traditional knowledge (Siphon lift irrigation technology)and combine with modern technology (use of PVC pipes insted of open channel)and use of undulating tophography (the use of the difference between level of community percolation tank and fields for sprinkler irrigation system without use of electricity)of small and marginal farmers with their fragmented lànd holding in remote villages where the electricity is absent for Irrigation system in village Dhamani Taluka Patan Dist Satara Maharashtra India
