I'm much more afraid of the sedation than I am of the procedures, I have horrible anxiety and frequent panic attacks and was prescribed benzos for half my life so needless to say but my tolerance is astronomical. What I consider a hefty dose is probably 5x OD for a benzo naive patient and my panic attacks can still power right through it. I'm also terrified of blacking out or losing complete control, and even if that went smoothly, I'd freak the fuck out the. second my brain turned back on. So I'm. probably completely shit out of luck huh?

Man, I cant find a dentist/oral surgeon willing to give me just a pill. They all keep reccomending IV or local but thats it. I dont get why its so hard to do that.

There is this time that I can't really face dentistry at all, just because of a traumatic extraction. That even tho I am having tooth pain, I endure it just to not visit the dentists. Now that anxiety is killing me, it feels like I'm gonna need sedation in order to get my dead teeth removed... BUT, there's also these times, maybe because of my anxiety, I even scared of sedations at all. So now, I don't even know what I can do to get me treated, plus I don't even have money for these procedures. And sedation dentistry in this country is so rare and very expensive. Is sedation safe? I was charged for this procedure. When I went in to get 2 new crowns that fell off 2 root canals I had a while back. The Dentist had told me a price for build up & crowns on both. But he wanted. To put me on a payment plan since my insurance didn't cover crowns, only pulling. So I had got my own lender since I'm not currently working during Covid . So then he up my price $2223.52 more for crown lengthening added to my crown & build up bill. I had to pay up front before they worked on me. Then they tact a extra $99 for a payment plan I never agreed too. I never got stitches, was just sore for less then 24hrs. & came back in month for my permanent crown. Is this possible?
