Great PSA. You should be given your full attention and a clear state of mind while driving. 6,000 is shocking as the IPhone just came out in 2007 unless BlackBerry’s were mega popular (I never had one).

First rope swing I've ever seen with ape hanger bicycle bars LOL. Very beautiful river, not far from Dahlonega. Thought it would be fast water. Long time since I been to North Georgia.
@ChristelVinot2 ай бұрын
this part of the chestatee is close to where it starts to go into lake lanier, so the water is more flat since it's near the lake. if you go upriver a lil more it gets faster pretty quick.

Beautiful creek! Researching river & creek treasure hunting, for civil war relics. Live in Thomasville, lots of creeks 1-2 hours north of Thomasville. Check out Spring Creek, Brinson, Georgia. Beautiful clear water. Your video footage is pretty good. BTW, how is your footing? What brand of shoe are you wearing, are they water shoes? Thanks for sharing your adventure!
@ChristelVinot2 ай бұрын
Astral Brewess is the water shoe I use. I shaved off the back parts near the heel though to make it more comfortable for sitting in a kayak. thanks for the creek suggestion and thanks for watching!

Did you see the boat-in, hike-in campsites? They used to call them island campsites, but they're actually on a peninsula. I've been to Carters Lake a few times but never on the water. The dam is pretty impressive.
@ChristelVinot2 ай бұрын
I've seen a few campsites. One was on an actual island. Others on peninsulas.

I like how you made the words flicker with the percussion, which also matches the rain. Song goes really well with your rainy Etowah footage.

I thought it was shallow, so I figured I could just stand in the water and hold the boat to wait for Brannon. But it was unexpectedly deep.. lol.

I especially enjoyed the wardrobe change lol. Really cool looking adventure. And you had a lot of great editing touches in this one, like the leaf on the the last crash of music. The cracked mud and extremely soft mud were interesting too.
