I think my favourites were the space foil and the card you liked. Interesting set, but man, they ain't cheap. Cardsmiths need to include 3 packs per mini box at LEAST or guarantee 1 hit per box.

@TradeCards i think their pricing is on par with a lot of modern stuff, and the subject matter is so unique that there isn't the same competition as with a baseball set. I definitely won't be buying too many though

Re: the back of card 14, the guy you said looks like a Ring-Wraith. I think he looks like he should be in the DUNE movies. Did this film win the Academy Award for costumes when it came out? I can't imagine a more deserving movie came out in the same year. EDIT: I looked it up and it won costume, make-up and sound editing.

Wow, Mike Mignola did the art on those cards. That's pretty cool. Dracula in the style of Hellboy looks pretty rad. RICHARD E. GRANT IS IN THIS?! You should check out Withnail and I. I'm a little luke warm on it, but a lot of people seem to really enjoy it.

@Animeexplosionbox i typically like a more simplistic character focus over "moments" but I definitely think putting nothing on the back is always a wasted opportunity, particularly when the focus of the set is as broad as this one

@@imsilent7522 i have no idea tbh. I think a lot of these bootleg products just pretend to be a game so they can claim it's a tcg so people buy more. Perhaps pretend is not the right word but just generally not very deep

I watched this on my TV this morning, just coming back to comment and let you know that Parzival was from Ready Player One, but LOOKS LIKE ROBERT SPRINGS BEAT ME TO IT! I think I agree with a lot of your favourites. YAKKO and DOT being the big hits. Too bad you didn't pull that 1/1 Steve Urkel from Family Matters. Fingers crossed you get that pull in your next 5 packs. Also, this box BETTER have a WACKO, amirite?

@TradeCards technically they're not all the character cards, but quotes as iconic as "I'll be back" and "Hasta la Vista, baby!" work really well too imo

The Connections between Master and Padawan is interesting. Yoda Trained Count Doku who then trained Qui-Gon Jinn who trained Obi Wan who trained Anakin Skywalker who's Son Luke was trained by first Obi Wan and then Yoda.

Jabba the Hutt was my favourite. He is a character I can identify with. Really wish they made him a Jedi. Despite not really being a fan of Manga, I really enjoyed the Manga Madness card too.
