Think Stipe won't press forward enough which is his path to victory. If he presses he can finish Jones. If he stays on the backfoot I think Jon takes him down and finishes by gnp or choke.

I’d say Nickal is the most promising prospect from that list…he’s being handled very well by the UFC and he’s the most well rounded…everyone else is good but aren’t tested enough some areas but all are still very promising and exciting…

I wouldn’t say welterweight is the most exciting but it’s by far the most functional division…there’s new faces in the top 5, interesting prospects, solid contenders and the matchups are all easy to figure out…there really isn’t a bad matchup to be made at welterweight… I think Prates vs Neal makes more sense and it would be a good look into how a JDM fight would go…Prates isn’t the youngest but he’s definitely one of the more interesting contenders in the division with his physical advantages and style, but someone with really good wrestling like a Brady or Belal will be problems for him…

haha - that's an interesting take. One could also say he's the most successful multi discipline heavyweight fighter of all time. He beat this generations MMA heavyweight GOAT, then the number one contender, then beat this generations heavyweight goat boxer (obvi only lost bc of a robbery on the score cards) , lost another boxing match and then beat the champion on the second best MMA operation in the world. Name a multi discipline heavy weight with a better 5 fight streak... i'll wait..

Y'all saying it don't matter, it matters in terms of future opportunities for other fighters, and Francis was about that. But they shouldn't be doing those fights ppv anyway, should be thinking of the ROI in terms of promotion and legitimacy rather than gate etc.

They’re trying to compete with the UFC, and believe it or not bro, their financial viability is actually super important to their long term existence. It’s not my job to give free pity promo to an organization that makes bad business decisions. I give my objective and honest takes about the sport, anything other than my honest opinion would be disingenuous and a disservice to the sport and my audience.

@FightSocietyMMA Right now One FC is live and no so called MMA KZbinr has promoted it. Anatoly is possibly the best lhw/mw in the world and he's competing. Once he goes to the UFC then y'all "MMA media" (UFC media) will obsess over him.

@@TheLaird123 Dag!! Good point, my dude. We're consumers not figging investors. I never cared about how much Fedor made a fight. I cared about match ups. Besides, I'm not board member, but I doubt they're trying to compete with the UFC to take market share. BRICS markets are wide open, and they have the majority of the world's population and commodities. So, what some may see as competition may may be actually an exercise in efficacy for serving future markets.

Why does the PFL talk about being the mma co-leader? If the UFC had a 10k ppv event, you would know, and people would talk about it. Why should we not talk about the PFL the same way? The financial aspects are not separable from the promotion.
