Almost 20 years ago I had a heart attack when I saw my Pokémon Silver would only give me the option 'New Game' so I ended up giving my cartridge to my cousin, so it disappear. Today, I saw my Pokémon Yellow game is lost aswell. I'm not gonna worry too much this time since I am currently playing Pokémon Yellow and Silver on my NDS (with a brand new shell I put on it!) so I will never ever lose a saved game again. Sad part is, now is not that fun, I have no one to play with, and I miss the old days, but hey, Yellow and Silver looks and sounds amazing in the DS with Lameboy!

I see there's now CR1616 holder parts available, it could be worth doing a follow up video on them as I think there could be some upsides (e.g. no soldering after they're installed, probably a lot easier to swap the batteries when the device is on if you want to preserve the save file)

I learned the hard way that you can't reflow the solder by gently raking it with a warm soldering iron on low heat like you can the DMG. This ribbon cable seems to melt a lot easier so this is a better alternative.😊
