At first I wasnt planning on doing this one but because of your comment I dug and I found the original sample (Ivan Lims' Qualquer Dia) to be very very interesting. If I can make something I judge interesting out of it and if life doesnt get in the way that'll happen

Absolutly! As stated in another comment I started one but have pushed it around since. There's a clear interest for this one so finishing it will be a priority for me right after my finals

I hope you don't mind me saying though that I feel the fourth bar of the main loop (after the introductory 2 lines, in 95 tempo) sounds more to me like it starts on the A rather than a B in the actual Nujabes song... I am not a trained transcriber but perhaps you can take a listen and evaluate that? It feels like it's jumping up an extra tone to me right now, but again its your transcription so your decision is the one which matters. Just wanted to say that's what I am hearing right now. Thanks again!!

Fun fact, it's actually sampled from Ivan Lins' Tens but you're right these songs share a very similar progression

Yeah no the notes are incorrect and the rhythm is all messy. Can't really blame it on a correctly tuned piano whatever the f that means. There are plenty of covers on youtube that sound perfect. Literally the first F should have been F# lmao

Hate to be the guy.. but there should be an Eb chord right before Ab… circle of fifths…

Focus on the blue and green that's the core loop.. the rest is based on parts from the beat to add some variety so people can use it as reference and freestyle according to their own skill level While transcribing whenever I have to compromise between accuracy and playability I tend to favor accuracy :/

@@kamu932 regardless I realize how bad of a tutorial this is.. I usually try to feel how a song should be played before transcribing it but totally skipped that part and went straight from sound to paper so it sounds okay but admitably plays awful.. Sorry if that was misleading we reasonnably expect a proper tutorial upon seeing midi in the thumbnail
