How long (time) from the boat ramp to the spring head?
@OutdoorAdventureswithShawnАй бұрын
it's idle all the way - probably around 2 hours -- it's a beautiful ride. hey, thanks for watching

Thanks for the reply. We did the trip yesterday. 20 mins from the public boat ramp to Swampys. 1 hr 20 mins to KP Hole another 15 mins to the sign averaging 4 mph upstream. So around 1 hr 35 mins total from ramp to sign. Faster on the way back but had to weave thru tubers.

Do not get, why saddles are built so high. Pls explain why. Appreciate your time.

Better visibility. Most are built a little lower than that.

If that doesn't look like Camp Mack then idk what does, cause across the canal the cypress tree life looks exactly the same. Even where the airboats direction of exit looks like Camp Mack's main way to Kissimmee river.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one. I just got my first jon boat and trailer and did the same thing after pulling in and out 3 times, wondering why it wasn't coming off the trailer. It was still tied down still

Ahhh, I remember those times well, noisy big block boats and no hearing protection! Don’t bother replying, I can’t hear shit nowadays.

I hate fan boats, like a 305 Chevy pickup without exhaust, makes a lot of noise for nothing😅

Awesome piece of equipment. I love the sound nothing sounds as good as a good old V8 how fast does it go and how much does something like this cost anybody know. Thank you in advance.😊😊😊 thank you in advance

Maybe for a drag boat, it's unstable, has way too much weight, and if you stand to the rear on any side it'll go under. My educated guess is this boat will not do deep water well.

I always wanted to try one of those, but there's not much need for them up here. Thus, they are quite rare around here..

Wow, for an open hull boat, that has extremely low freeboard. Normally those are full deck boats.
@OutdoorAdventureswithShawn5 ай бұрын
There are several types of hulls, this is a good example of the cut down ( to make it lighter) fiberglass hull. Its all about preference, we had a sled, (deck over) and did not like it.

Those orchids are Encyclia Tampensis There is an albino version of this that is very uncommon. They bloom from Spring thru Summer but on occasion you may find one blooming at another time. Thanx for sharing the video. If you Google it you can obtain alot of info on all the 40 something native orchids , most of which frow in the Fahkahatchee Strand in Collier County.
