I went camping/hiking a few months ago in an ultralight MSR Elixer 2 person tent, was very small but I borrowed it and wanted one of my own so I cheaped out and got this one (green 3 person version) instead of a coleman one for 30 or 40 more. Setup was very easy. For the price I think it's fine. Stayed at a state park last week and it fit my twin size inflatable mattress and a small cooler with water i used as a little table along with room for a blanket so my german shepherd could stay in it with me at night. During the day it was in the low 80s and had the front zipper screen undone it didn't get too hot but I didn't really go in it til night. After sitting around the fire for a while midnight came and it got down to 47 degrees. The tent stayed fairly warm, no condensation in the morning. And my Ozark trail $15 sleeping bag kept me warm and the blanket my dog warm. Another Ozark trail thing I bought was an led 4 D battery lantern which has got a lot of use including when the power went out from Hurricane Helena. Even if it's cheap stuff it does work. Like my under $2 knife from that brand I use for work sometimes. Only problem I had with the tent is minor, the rain fly on one corner came off the stake overnight but it stayed down. Oh and it's not the most fun to pack up.

Hi there, I wanted to share my color options for people watching, just in case: - warm white light - a color setting where if I hold the button I can choose any color (it slowly changes color and when you relese the button it stays that color) - color cycle setting ❤ Thanks for the review :D

The 2 person ozark has door that goes to side and much bigger rainfly. Took one on a week long kayak trip worked great through numerous storms. Worth the $30 but doesn’t last long go through 1 a year lol

I have the XL version. Absolutely love it. It’s been on several trips cooler trips now, and with my mil-sur bivy, I’ve been comfortable down into the low 50’s. If used in conjunction with the jungle sleeping bag, 35/40 would be fine. Highly recommend.

I like this blanket. They are $50 bucks at Sierra Stores so keep your eyes peeled if you have one around your area.

I have a $15, 2 person, Ozark Trail tent, I have been backwoods camping, from my motorcycle, for the last 20 years. Yep. Feels cheap, thin poles, no tub, but has worked out great, rain or shine.

Checked the Walmart site and found description. "Seam-Taped rainfly with built-in awning for added weather protection". Probably a slight exaggeration.

I thought you could switch compartments with which one you want to use as a freezer and which one you want as fridge. The camper van has one of those small fridge with just about no freezer space. I wanted this as an add more for the freezer for meats and stuff that should be in a freezer.

How much power does the saw draw? Mine has operated an 1100 watt microwave, electric kettles, vacuums, toasters and several other devices without any problems.

The reviews I read on WalMart/Amazon said the tent pole was too hot to touch, the entire tent was way too hot and when cell phones were left inside during the day, they overheated. And I really want to give this tent t a try anyway.
@kendylcosgrove74536 ай бұрын
I usually have a small, well insulated cooler with no ice packs to leave my electronics in when I know they’ll be sitting in a hot tent. Insulates them from the heat and keeps them out of eye sight if you’re camping at a festival.

even with the foam coolers dont get cold enough to store food barely gets to or stays at even 5 degrees
@kevinwalter26745 ай бұрын
No cooler is meant to "store" food for longer than a few hours. These coolers are for keeping drinks and ice chilled while camping or fishing or whatever. They're not refrigerators.

great vid! this tent is on my short list for our car camping. can you fit two cots in this? what size of cots would be recommended? thanks.
@gdude7397 Жыл бұрын
Free advice (and worth every penny): When staking a tent, stake from opposite sides, rather than going around the tent stake by stake. Much easier to get it right the first time - and be sure to have the door(s) zipped shut.

THANK YOU! I needed to find out how to set it up, but other videos didn't show and EXPLAIN how it was done. Also they had two people and it was put up too fast to see what exactly they were doing. I enjoyed your pleasant and extensive video! You could get a job for the Ozark company 😊❤❤
