Hello! Thank you very much. I think Still Life is so special......so is wonderful to meet others who feel the same way :P. I LOVE coloured pencils especially brilliant for the detail which I love but I find it is very time consuming for me so that is the reason I switched to pastels just over 4 years ago. I do miss my pencils they just sitting on a shelf but I know in the future I will go back to them. xx

Yes I do frame most of my pastel paintings. But if they are framed i do not ship i will take them out the frame to ship as don't want the glass to break. I sell my paintings mostly through art markets as well as exhibitions with galleries and I also stock a gallery. xx

Thank you ️ all I do is print out the image and rub black pastel on the back then take the paper and use making tape and tape it over the pastelmat paper with the image facing me so the pastel in the back is on the soft pastel paper. Then I take a pencil and trace over. Hope that makes sense. Thank you for your question 🫶

Thank you very much. Well first I started with watercolour but no matter what subject I painted I was never happy with the finished result so I moved onto coloured pencils which I really enjoyed. I liked the detail I could get with them but the downside for me was how long a drawing would take. So I googled a fast medium and it said pastels! So I began to explore soft pastels, pastel pencils and hard pastels and I fell in love :) xxx Thanks for asking. Do you work in pastel?

Are you referring to a set of soft pastels? Is so all the different brands sell different size sets. Hope that is what you mean?

I enjoy using photos as ref. Often I work from both, the photo as well as my still life set up as mentioned because in real life you can see so much more subtle colour 🖤
