Part of Illyrian & Trachian heritage, from north, parts of Italy, Austria, Slovenia, then further down to Croatia, Bosnia & Hercegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria, all the way the Greek islands. The movie, My big fat Greek Wedding is a great movie & because of a lot similarities in customes, with customes where I grew up, I laughed a lot! Great movie, I & II part.

Der Jakominiplatz ist - Entschuldigung - wirklich ungeordnet und hässlich. Graz war heute meine letzte Station auf meiner Reise durch die österr. Landeshauptstädte. Es gibt soo viele gute Gestaltungsideen in Österreich (auch in Graz an anderer Stelle), also bitte hier umgehend neu gestalten !!

Der Jakominiplatz ist seit seinem Umbau tatsächlich einer der am schlimmsten verschandelten Plätze in meiner Heimatstadt Graz, in der ich schon seit 40 Jahren nicht mehr lebe. Mir blutet noch immer jedes Mal das Herz, selbst aus der Ferne, wenn ich das sehe. 😰

This is in homage to George Hill Hodel's "fine art" murder of Elizabeth Short, the Black Dahlia. Hodel was a prominent MD in LA and good friends with Man Ray, Marcel Duchamp and William Copley. Hodel was also a pedophile who raped his daughter and offered her up to guests at his wild LA parties. Marcel Duchamp’s Etant Donnes homage to the Black Dahlia Murder was a twenty-year work in progress (1947-1967), which the artist had created in secret. Under Duchamp’s specific written instructions, the work could not be shown to the public until after his death. Further, it was to be assembled (using detailed instructions from Duchamp) by his good friend, William Copley. Copley had purchased and was gifting the piece to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. After Duchamp’s passing in October, 1968, arrangements were made to assemble the piece at the museum with a public opening set for July 7, 1969. Man Ray also paid homage to the murder in one of his posters, Les Invendables, which was presented in April 1969.

Hey, I've been checking some of your videos - fell on it by mistake - they are great ! The way you frame what you shoot, the silence around, the motion of it, simple and beautiful. I specially like this one, it is inspiring in terms of shapes, design, reflection, superb piece of art, and you shed light on it superbly. It's always framed at the right distance, with the right angle. You really deserve more views ! : )
