How can I find a rent just one bedroom just one person? Who is the real state?

We have been here for two years, and our budget is not that high, and we have a car.

I agree, I think it can be done in a much more affordable way, but I wanted to show a very conservative scenario. Thank you so much for watching!!!

Are you guys selling your home in Chicago? To move? Or going back and forth?
@MimiWiskasChicago14 сағат бұрын
Hi! For now we are planning on downsizing and keeping a very small place in Chicago only to visit kids and any major medical emergency, other than that moving full time to Mexico plus traveling.

Thank you so much for watching! And yes, I agree with you, my estimate is very high and it can be much more affordable to live in SMA living a wonderful lifestyle. Hoping I can officially move in full time in the next couple of months❤

The flight from Chicago to Cuidad de Mexico is not 4 hours 45 minutes. It’s 3 hours 45 minutes.

Google says approximately 4 and a half hours

@ I’ve traveled twice in 2024 and it was under 4 hours both times. Google is wrong.

¡Buenísimo! Thanks for sharing your research. Our youngest kid is 11 y/o so we still have many years to go before they’re launched, but I love learning about different places where we can retire and live that next chapter of life.

Thank you for this very helpful information. I will be visiting San Miguel de Allende February 1-7, 2025 and may return for a longer visit later. I was wondering about volunteer opportunities for expats? I am an animal lover and a former tutor and elementary school teacher.

I am exploring a move to SMA, I live in New Mexico and am retired…I would like to travel there to visit, I would be traveling alone….is there a service that I could hire to help me tour the city?
@RosemaryBrittain14 күн бұрын
Hi Sylvia. I was wondering the same thing. I'll be traveling solo February 1-7, 2025 and would love to meet a local who could show me around a bit.

I don't think most rented apts. have A/C, but it is highly recommended imo because sometimes it gets very uncomfortable.

Cartels in control. Violence increasing

I’ve been here two times. PTO is either very poor or very rich. The two extremes often are only a few feet apart. It is rapidly growing. Architecture is typical Mexican. Bear in mind a guided tour does not reveal all. Drug Gangs are a grim reality. Be careful. Look before you leap.

No, too many gringos have destroyed the charm it once had.

The cartels are in control and the vìolence is spiralling out of control. Real estate fraud is commonplace
