Just seeing this video and am probably going to be getting the 2 into 1 setup very soon myself. I was wondering if you knew what kind of jet size and fuel/air mix changes y'all may have had to do for that setup?
@nopi98 Жыл бұрын
According to a couple of the Facebook pages im a member of you do not need to mess with the jetting All you were doing is changing the exhaust. You only need to change the jetting when you mess with the incoming air.

May i ask why was the bilsten piston facing downward and the monroe the otherway
@nopi982 жыл бұрын
I hope this doesn’t sound like being a smart Alec but what you described in your question is the right side up for each of those shocks.
@quickprofitautoworks2 жыл бұрын
@@nopi98 go to time 1:50. The bilsten shock piston is facing downward “how you had it installed” dust boot on bottom Then u installed monroe shock with piston facing upwards. And spring on top. I never seen that. This is why i am asking. Does the bilsten shock call for being in that direction

@StuntCult2 жыл бұрын
hey I had a pair of the cobra slip ons I was thinking about getting the 2 in 1 exhaust. which one would you say is louder of the two?
@nopi982 жыл бұрын
I guess if you’re only going for loudness I would have to say that the slip on’s were louder. But there is definitely a different tone in the two.

Your the perfect person to ask from your Bilstein shocks to these how does it ride. Would you say it's stiffer and less body roll?
@nopi982 жыл бұрын
If I’m honest, I dont notice things like body roll etc. I basically got the load adjusting shocks to level out the lift I have on the front.

I slapped some Bilsteins on the rear of my f150 without noticeable difference in ride quality under normal and towing circumstances. She squats a lot with a 28' travel trailer hooked up. Weight distribution hitch helps, but still quite a bit of squat. Still happy with these during loaded and unloaded use? Would you do it again or try something else if you had a chance to do it over?

How does it drive, loaded and unloaded? What do you think of those shocks vs the 5100s that you took off?
@nopi984 жыл бұрын
As far as the drive… I haven’t noticed a difference in ride quality between the 5100s and the new Monroe shocks. What I have noticed is that the rear end Stays in a “locked” position when I hook up things like my boat when before it used to sag pretty bad
@maidendos95144 жыл бұрын
You changed only the tails? I mean the last part of exhaust? Sounds amazing
@nopi984 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Yes I only changed the last part of the exhaust... it is the cheapest and easiest to get better sound. Although it does not aid in gaining horsepower. I have another video where I put on another set of full exhaust. You should go check it out.
@TheDurivage4 жыл бұрын
Wow thank you so much! I’ve been watching V-Star 1100’s exhaust videos for almost a year, wondering what kind of Cobra exhaust I should put on. Your video clearly show the difference between those two! The slashcuts seem more high pitched while the 2 in 1 sound more low pitch and more v8 like under acceleration. I like that!
@nopi984 жыл бұрын
TheDurivage I’m glad my video helped you. And yes, you are right...the 2 into 1’s sound like a small block v8
