Seen this unique unfinished log home in 1996 while staying at the Wise Choice Inn located at the foot of the hill where this log home was being built on our way to Yellowstone from Cody.So sad and tragic the end....wished that I could have walked to it but no path up that hill.

This place went to Bucky Smith after his Dad fell to his death working on it . Chip , Lauras husband , owners of the Last Chance Motel in Wapati Wyoming seen him laying on the roof . Thought he was just working until he never moved.. So Chip got a friend went up to see n he was dead... Well it ended up that Bucky sister got the place . After Bucky wrecked his car n killed himself...Dont remember her name. I went in that place several times with my children when i lived in Wapati in 1999.. It was a masterpiece. . . Too bad it didnt stay in the family ... Good memories in that place. . . Just looking and showing my children. They never seemed to get tired of going their .
