@@josephpaulding7802 some distributors got it early. I know somebody told me they got it. I’m a comic book shop in New York. It’s also arrived overseas. It’s just the luck of the draw sometimes we get stuff early. Sometimes we get it later.

@@thetoypaige Yep, especially since a RED HOOD type character is their bread & butter, a dude with guns and leather clothing, he's perfect. The only problem is DC ongoing "No Trigger Weapons" ban, which is just stupid.

@@riotsquad42 they’ve done this a few times. Honestly, I feel it’s a pretty good way to handle it. I’m not sure about the process of how difficult it is to do with the factory. But a good example of this also was the gold skull ninjas. It opened up and sold out pretty quickly, they reopened the pre-order but advertised that the release date would be later in the year. They also did it was Nosferatu as well. Personally like I said, I would much rather know that I’m getting the figure eventually than the possibility of not getting the figure at all.

@@riotsquad42 That’s a good point. When we started doing a little deep dive on IG it did say PO and when it went live it did say Buy it Now. I don’t think anyone wants to have to resort to going to eBay. Personally I would rather give that money to the company or a group seller.

@@grabberorange I agree with you about MTO window. I do think that there is a few differences between the two companies in that respect. I think the process of putting in another order for Chun Li (all plastic figure) vs a figure with soft goods, is a little more involved as well as more of a production cost. I get the frustration but exclusives are limited so everyone isn’t going to get them. Not saying that there isn’t an area that can be improved upon with this PO. But other companies have experienced crashes, limited production runs, and a frustrated fanbase. I don’t believe any company is doing it intentionally.

@@thetoypaige Maybe they should just make MTO windows for all exclusives. Us Mezco collectors always play the waiting game anyways.

@@grabberorange Yeah, I posted a poll/convo in the Mezco group would people like limits and then have that lifted after 24hrs? Or would collectors be ok with an MTO and waiting, but knowing they would be the item. In the end, it’s a hard choice because I think no matter what, somebody or a group of people will be disappointed. You can’t really please everyone. But it’s important to just try and do as much as you can.

I agree! Like I mentioned in the segment I think limits - Slows down the purchasing processing and throttles down the site traffic - Reduces the aftermarket reselling - Most importantly, creates a more even playing field so that more people have a chance to get at least one. Limited releases and exclusives are always going to be a little hardier to get because of a lower production run. But at least it gives collectors a better chance.

Yes, this and the other figures shown, are all still in prototype stages and are pending licensor approval.

Captain America has had a tradition of wearing shorts dating back to his first appearance in Captain America #1. This version is like the Golden Age Batman, a throwback design if you will.

Yeah, I really like the way this one looks. I know a lot of people have it. Hang up about the shorts, but I feel it blends pretty well.
