I want to know at what time should I pay for the car, I booked a car online with a payment of 21 thousand, after 15 days the dealer called me and said a car should leave from other state and in 3,4 days it will come to our state, the dealer said your car will come to the showroom after making full payment. But I want to make full payment at the time of delivery after PDI of my car. But they denied it and said without full payment the car can not come to our showroom. I want to know whether it is mandatory for buying or the dealer is lying. Now coming to the issue if after making full payment, my car unfortunately gets damaged due to some reason like while transporting from the yard to the showroom or other reason

No you can request PDI before making full payment, if you make full payment they will register the car in your name and there will no use of PDI.
