For cruising your carry-ons aren’t counted. For flying, I had the diaper backpack plus a rolling suitcase as my “carry-ons.”

Congratulations!!! How is her pregnancy going so far? Has she cruised before? As it gets closer, she should definitely discuss it with her doctor to get approval/advice and see how she’s feeling in terms of any morning sickness.

very informational. Some of the stuff seemed like over planning to me, but some things, I did not think about. Overall very helpful. Im going to travel with grandparents to lighten the load. hopefully that will help

The video definitely covers a lot, so cruisers can pick and choose what’s helpful and useful to their families. What’s too much planning for one, might not be for another. Sailing on Panorama in Jan 2025. Deck 6 balcony as well, but your video has me wanting to switch cabins. The balcony view is awful. I want to be over the water not an awning type structure. Ughh. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm taking my first cruise on the vista in December. They assigned me to the 8th floor. From what I have gathered its not ideal as its near elevators and the theater. Can you please recommend the best floor with light traffic and little to no noise?

We were on the 6th floor towards aft and had no issues with noise. I think as long as you’re not below (or maybe even above) common areas and are away from elevators/foot traffic, there shouldn’t be any issues with noise.

Hello, thank you for the video. My wife is due in September with our first, and extended family is wanting to do an Alaska cruise in June 2025. You mention that the baby needs to be 12 months old if it is 2 sea days in a row. Does that mean the day after you leave has to a port day? or would it be fine to be leave and sea day the next day. Congratulations!!! We have an Alaska cruise playlist, if you are interested! Two consecutive sea days, embarkation day does not count. So for example, it can be embarkation day, sea day, sea day, port.

The key is to show 0 interest. The moment you show even the slightest interest, they will not let you out easy, lol! We did a lot of back and forth and finally our 3mo baby woke up and was hungry so that was our easy way out! We were like we HAVE to go to feed her!

I’m so excited for you!! Miami has the free MetroMover which made getting around super easy. We had an Airbnb right by one of the stops and we were in a nice location next to Bayside Marketplace.

Hi I’m happy I came across your channel, I was curious has any of your babies gotten sick from being on the cruise? I want to plan a cruise with my baby boy he turned 6months today and I just feel a little iffy on taking him on a cruise on as people say confined space I have watched another video and the lady said her girl got sick and they as well but she thinks it was because her girl was crawling all over the floors on ship. Anyways so that’s my thing but I mainly came because I wanted to know what to take when I eventually go on our first cruise with baby when he is about 9 months old close to ten well last days of September into first week of October. Hubby and I have been on 8 cruises but now that we have a little person we are bit you know hopefully I hear from you thanks

Happy Half Birthday to your son!!! ❤️ Our oldest has been on 5 cruises and the only time we all got sick was back when we cruised to Alaska in May 2022. We got sick 2 days after we returned home. We do a lot of handwashing. I bring hand sanitizing wipes to use all around the ship/port and Lysol wipes for the room to wipe everything down before we start unpacking. There is a recent video packing our 6mo for our cruise. I recommend checking it out as well as downloading the packing list we have in the video descriptions. 🤗

Great video! I love your philosophy on choosing 1 of the 2 elegant nights. It is a big effort to get everyone ready for that night. On our last cruise we attempted 2 and our toddler refused to wear his fancy wear on the first elegant night.

I want the pics, but it’s an effort for sure, which takes away from what could be a “relaxing” cruise with small children. Less effort/plans = less stress! I even found myself barely doing my own makeup this trip, lol! 😘

Great video, you do a great job. Just wanted to point out, I think Carnival is the only cruise line that offers self serve laundry. We do RC and Celebrity, and they have to do the laundry for you if you need it done. Thanks for all the great tips! :)

Awesome! Totally understand!! It’s a whole new world cruising with a baby, even if you are an experienced cruiser, lol! You are allowed to take baby to shows, just not the 18+ comedy shows.
