It is either real or winning for the first time affects the players Brain e.g. all the attention they get e.g. cameras following them all over the place interviews etc means they cannot concentrate the next year so they do not put in 100 percent effert!

I’m sure Willo has at least another 1-2 years at the top level in him. Like I say I think Allen will win the WC next year but if he doesn’t you start to wonder if he ever will. Just can't see Jak Jones kicking on tbh, scoring just isn't there, his game perfectly suits longer formats like the WC where he can pull his opponent into the deep end. Hope I'm wrong, love his attitude. Not really a resurgence for Gilbert since he never really achieved what his talent was capable of... A player that talented shouldn't have only 1 ranking title win and a career high ranking of 10.
@SimpleSnooker6 ай бұрын
Of course but Gilbert was a frame away from the final in 2019 and won the 2021 CL, so getting back into the top 16 next season would be a resurgence in my books. I agree about Jak Jones sadly. I want him to succeed but can’t seeing him consistently beating the best in best of 11’s like at UK’s and Masters, or indeed in the 7’s throughout the season

I remeber watching the ronnie vs Bingham match on a youtube stream (im aussie) and just seeing all the ronnie dick suckers just absolutely yapping and always going "fixed" everytime ronnie missed a ball. Like bro, he was just fumbling mentally like he always does, nothing new 🤣 This was a great set of rankings man, you did the farmer justice bro it was so good to see him get some spotlight again.
@MrBoboiscool6 ай бұрын
Ronnie despite winning so much this year has been sloppy all season he just produces enough to win despite some periods of not great play. He just never clicked against jones. Day will be kicking himself for a long time. Lisowski to me will be done in a couple of years as a consostent top 16 player, guy just can not get the matchplay and consistency.
@SimpleSnooker6 ай бұрын
Yeah I’ve said on the channel before that Ronnie is the only top player that loses multiple frames on the bounce out of nowhere in matches he should see out, as he did against Bingham

Kyren won fair and square. Jak was a great finalist too, considering it was his first time in the world final. You could say that the quality was low on quite a few world titles to be fair. He had to pot the balls on the table, and he did. Good luck to him.

Mark Williams will be 50 soon. I would like to see him back at the Crucible next year when he will be 50 years old! I think 3 out of 10 was a bit harsh for Williams after all it did go to a decider in his match. Si is a bit hot and cold plays well at times but inconsistent.
