Currently, the light of fireflies flowing on the disaster prevention radio (chime) in Japan can be heard at 5p.m. (March only) in Ota City, Ojima-choGunmaPrefecture and 6p.m. (December only) in Mizunami City, Gifu Prefecture. Please note that both will ring onlyon the specified month! Also, please note that it may stop ringing in 2026! There are more places than disaster prevention radios (chimes) used for the closing chime of the store, not the disaster prevention radio (chime) of the town, so please listen to the firefly light when some store closes. As far as I remember, I think the firefly light will ring when it closes at Daiso and others.Have a fun trip to Japan!

@ Oooh, I appreciate that. Thank you! What about Greensleeves? That’s one of my personal favorite songs from the disaster prevention radio systems.

Also, I forgot two places where Green Sleeves flow. It flows at 6 a.m. in Nagara-cho, Chosei-gun, Chiba Prefecture, and 4 p.m. in the nearby Mutsuzawa-cho, Chosei-gun, Chiba Prefecture. Please note that the green sleeves in Mutsuzawa-cho only flow in autumn and spring! I've apologized many times.
