One of the Terry's Chocolate Orange advertisement lines was "tap it, unwrap it". The "whack it" must be the US marketing??! Have a great weekend. 😊

Tina have You not worked out the resealing process on our bags? There is a bit that peels off on the back, so when you roll up the bag it tapes IT back up. Sorry IF You know this but in the video You said I'm not sure how it reseals.

28lb in England would be described as two stones , there are 16 oz in a lb and 14lbs in a stone , 8 stones = 1cwt ( hundredweight ) and 20 cwts = 1 ton , now there's a lesson in Imperial weights , hope you two at the back of the class were listening as questions will follow and that was what our arithmetic teacher would say to me and my mate Smithy before throwing blackboard rubbers at us for misbehaving , oh how i miss the 1970's comprehensive education system 🐒🐒

I grew up in a Norwegian household. Both of my parents are/were Norwegian immigrants. I grew up eating this. In 2004 I went to Norway to see my cousin get married. Whilst there I picked up a few cans of Husmor fisher to bring home. Coming home I hit customs at La Guardia. The customs guy asked if I had anything to declare. "Yeah. I have a couple of cans of fiskeboller." "What's that?" "Basically, cod ground up and turned into fish meatballs in brine." The guy paused for a minute and then said "You can keep that, but I have no idea why you would want to." Became I am Norwegian, numbskull. I just bought four cans of it from Amazon. Tonight will be fiskeboller in curried white sauce with potatoes and carrots. Hopefully it will be a good as mom made it.

I bloody love sweets lol. Ice cream flavour Chewits used to be my fave but i dont think they do em any more. I like the mushrooms that u started with (everywhere does their own version) but theyre too easy to wolf down in copious amounts. At least the ones in the sticky papers make you realise how much youre eating lol. Traditional sweet shops are making a little comeback, which im pleased about. Where they have rows of jars behind the counter and u request a certain amount to be weighed out. I go almost weekly, when i go to the supermarket (I go to different ones so they don't know how many sweets i actually eat haha)
@FinnLovesFood7 күн бұрын
Hi Siobhan, what flavor was the ice cream flavor? Vanilla? I hear you about those mushrooms. They go down so easy! Love the look of the old fashioned sweet shops. We have a more modern one at our mall, but they are so expensive.
@SiobhanHfuhruhurr-qe1ul6 күн бұрын
@@FinnLovesFood just plain ice cream flavour. Not particularly vanilla-y (say that 5 times fast haha). Yea, proper sweets from a proper sweet shop are expensive here too. All the supermarkets sell their own though, and theyre normally decent enough, so there are cheaper options available if u just want a sugar fix.

I put this cheese into cheese and potato pie along with mozzarella. Plus we do Welsh rabbit. We seem to use quite a lot of cheese.
