I have sat and watched this over and over. This is where I grew up and later in life my parents lived in Jamestown and when you walked into Brooks grocery store - I cried like a baby. So many great memories were made there with the Brooks family. Loved them dearly! Is Gray Gables Bed and Breakfast still open? My mom and her were the best of friends. It has been many years since I have been bake home. My dad passed in 2002 and mom passed in 2003. Thank you for posting this and giving me back some great memories. I have loved it!!

Praise the Lord! Thank you for watching and commenting. The guacamole recipe was actually super simple it was just a few avocados mashed up until smooth and then diced onion and tomato. We just added those until it seemed like a good mix. After a week on the Daniel fast without all the overly processed food we all often fall into eating, a simple recipe like this tastes so good. The salsa was the vegetables you saw in the video put in the oven on broil until they started to blacken, then blended with a handful of cilantro, cumin, and salt to taste. The chickpeas were washed, dried, and then cooked on medium-high without stirring for 3 mins. tossed then cooked for another 3 mins. Then add the seasoning mix and cook for about 2 mins. The black beans were rinsed and cooked on medium-high until they started to soften. Then the seasoning mix was added with a little water and continued cooking until the water evaporated. We found the seasoning mix but just searching online for a simple taco seasoning mix and thankfully had all the spices on hand already. I hope this helps, God Bless!

Correction! The first time I locked myself out of the house, I had locked my keys inside the house since I hung my keys in a new spot. Since my keys were safely locked inside the house, i was also locked out of the car as well. The second time, I just turned the lock as I went outside without even thinking because locking the door behind me is second nature.
