They could’ve replaced Michael Rosenbaum with this guy. Remember everyone thought Lex died in the North Pole, maybe whatever medical treatment he was given changed him.

If Clark really wanted to stop her he really could have…not like she didn’t take her time after hanging up. What did he stop at Starbucks to pick her up a coffee?
@WarhawkBeyond20402 жыл бұрын
Considering that Mackenzie Gray was only in one episode as Lex Luthor's older clone, he did an outstanding job channeling in Michael Rosenbaum's classic portrayal and even at times sounded like him from the way he delivered his lines. I would have loved to have seen him for a couple of more episodes until the real one eventually returned, he was brilliant.

Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor and Tom Welling as Clark Kent and Kristin Kreuk as Lana Lang didn't come for final season.

What's funny is this guy was also in the DCEU as one of Zods henchman if memory serves when Clark was on the ship adapting and bleeding but then regained his powers.

WB & DC love recycling actors. Especially ones from the CW.

Not just any henchman, Jax-Ur, who was the original #1 Phantom Zone villain before the Donner movies popularized Zod.

@@axebomber2108 True. I just remembered his face in MOS. But also fun fact amy Adam's and one of the other scientist guys were also in Smallville. The scientist dude was Emil I think he helped Clark and Chloe and Amy Adam's was one of the kryptonite freaks early on. It seems they liked. Martha Kent in SV played by Annette O' Toole was also Lana Lang in Superman III. Its funny how alot of Superman universe actors play different characters in another universe of DC.

the only thing I don't understand is why real lex would give his memories to his clones? He needed them for organ donations, not for replacing himself

This was really strange, they seemed to be building up to Chloe becoming Doctor Fate. When they met, Doctor Fate said "you walk the same path I do" and here it talks about sacrificing herself. But 5 minutes later she was fine and it was never mentioned again.

I think this scene and subsequent scene, is inspired by the interrogation scene and then saving scene from The Dark Knight. *SPOILER ALERT* - Like Batman, Clark meets the villain of the piece, and they have a rather in-depth conversation about what both of them mean in the grander scheme of life. - Like Batman, Clark gets angry and loses control, attacking the villain, and acting in a way that is startlingly unheroic to the people perceiving it (Commissioner Gordon and Jor-El later on, in the Fortress of Solitude). - The villain gives the good guy(s) two things to save in a short, nerve-racking span of time, with the goal of making him/them fail. - The result is a heroic figure being deemed unworthy to be a hero anymore i.e. Harvey is injured and distraught over the loss of Rachel, and Jor-El deems Clark unworthy of being a hero after nearly taking a man's life.
