I removed 2 impacted wisdom teeth and had surgery with local anesthesia. It was not extremely bad, just bad. I did not feel any pain, but the noises were the ones that scared me a lot, but again, no pain, just something going on in your mouth. The recovery, though, is very painful. It's the 5th day, and I still feel pain , can not talk properly, can not speak properly, and cannot open my mouth a lot and close it entirely. I did not expect it to be this bad, but it is. I am not writing all this to scare u and not all people experience the same level of pain and the same recovery. Yes, I am recovering, I am not getting worse day by day but it is very frustrating. Not being able to eat what u want and to enjoy food is definitely the worst for me. I have been in my bed for the past 5 days. Not being able to do a lot of stuff cause I am tired of the pain and very low on energy. But things will get better so if this is you or will be you be patient , you are not the first one.

I juz did it today, this is my 3rd time doing it. It is painful but bearable, today it took longer because my Doctor was with a student (a guy student at that) so when she inserted the speculum on me a little bit of explanation to the student, then she did the first one and then she turned to me and asked can he do the 2nd one? (The brush) me being the awkward nicey nicey one i said "okay"😅 then they noticed he was not wearing gloves yet so he had to put one then do it🤣so the process was longer😂but its okay i guess, more practice for him makes it better for his future patients
