I was in a truck once similar thing but the rider freaked and laid the bike down and slid to a stop under my bumper 😂 I was expecting it to happen, it was the weirdest thing (other bikes had went by)

This happened to me. Same same. 4-wheeler was going too fast to keep to his side. We narrowly missed each other but I'll never forget it.

Try working on staying on the throttle (even a little) and brake at same time. You will maintain a little more control of the turn. When you let off the throttle entirely you lose control and you will keep going in that direction. Another trick is to counter steer, more throttle, and you can even rear tire steering with losing a little traction but that takes a good amount of practice.

Rear brake and moar engine brake makes for slide good and keep front tire pointed and leaned into curve

ive never had issues with it thus far, so I was way overconfident. Better to learn on a small dirtbike than end up dying on a bigger road bike

When doing a launch, don’t try to move forward and stand up, move forward and sit down with your balls on the tank, rev it about halfway-3/4 of the way, make sure your right foot is on the ground but left is under the shifter so you can be prepared to shift from 1st to 2nd gear to prevent either A. Wheeling out of control or B. Rev limiter, then just start grabbing gears broski
