If you like those albums you'll probably enjoy jairo's new band called troops of doom. I just got their EP rise of heresy in the mail. At the end they cover morbid visions and troops of doom for fun. It's a gritty raw sounding EP, but with a little better production than the 1985-1987 sepultura stuff. I love it so much, I have their next albums on order right now.

We're there any real visible moments where he was expecting everyone to know the lyrics and then having a look of disappointment? I just went to the Portland, Or show two nights ago, and he seemed impressed at how much we all knew! I've always known a lot, but not all. Knowing what show I was going to, I took the opportunity to study the lyrics to both albums over the last two weeks to freshen up my understanding. Unfortunately, a lot of people just go to a show for something to do, and not because they have any vested interest in a band.

I've seen soulfly & original sepultura several times. My buddy that I went with said it seemed like max & iggor were feuding. He would quit singing & say does anybody know these songs. He was getting pissed because people were sitting around at tables & balcony. He'd start yelling did you guy come to sit on your asses or have a good time. He'd say things like we'll this guy actually knows the songs or I thought this was a metal show fucking act like it. Usually after the shows he'll walk around & talk to people. I was talking to iggor outside & he was trying to get max to come off the bus. Than you'd here him yell fuck them, let's get the shit loaded & get out of here.

@@craigmapel1415 Wow yeah sounds like he was genuinely pissed. Dealing with a crowd like that I guess at some point you're just playing to the 10 people right up front that actually know who you are and what you're playing lol. Crazy.

@@morsteen ya it was pretty pathetic. That bar is usually packed to where you can barely walk thru the crowd. It usually holds I think 1200 people. There prob wasn't 15 cars in the parking lot staff included. If there were 200 people at the show I would be surprised. There may have been 20-30 people up front. I was in front row in front of max. Everytime he'd have the crowd sing he put the Mic done by me & my buddy. He'd say are you the only 2 that know these songs. He'd say shit like hey asshole were not a shitty bar band, we've been touring for 30 years why don't you show us some respect. When they left the stage he said thank you to the diehards up front the rest of you asshole enjoy your fucking beer.
