Absolutely agree on Taron being #1, it truly is one insane ride. Especially at night during Wintertraum, my god that is one of the best coaster experiences you can get. I used to be a Taron hater but goddamn the rides I got in 2023 during Wintertraum were just on another level. And btw. Just out of curiosity: Where does Voltron rank for you?!

Symbolica is the top of my dark ride bucket list, I have researched on it so I know the story and will understand it while I ride, it’s also very iconic in my opinion, plus the queue looks amazing and it’s so intricate, and last it has such a good presentation outside.

@ That's true, but just to slag one ride off because it's not what THEY like, is a bit childish. I'm not a fan of MARVEL or FROZEN at all, but I appreciate there are millions of others who DO like those franchises.

@@philnewton-england7795 There are plenty of attractions that are not my cup of tea, but I can tell the difference between an otherwise solid attraction that I'm not the target audience for, and one that just doesn't do a good job of delivering what it's supposed to. The big problem I have with this is that it tries to combine a much tamer theme and story onto a more thrilling ride, and those elements just don't work very well together. If this was a tamer ride with a flume system more like Small World or Pirates, I'd consider it more of the former (not my kind of ride, but can appreciate what it's trying to do). Trying to shoehorn it onto a more thrilling ride like Splash Mountain makes it more of the latter (trying and failing to do what it's supposed to).

@ I'm probably just biased because I'm a big fan of Princess & the Frog. On my first viewing of it I was very disappointed that they didn't stick with the actual films theme - especially to not include Dr Facilier - a great villain. So, I do agree it should have been a LOT better but I'm just glad it wasn't another Marvel, Frozen or Star Wars attraction.

@@philnewton-england7795 Part of why I find this so lackluster is that I enjoyed PatF too...but see almost nothing I liked about it properly represented other than just having a few characters stand around doing nothing interesting. You admit it should have been better...so don't feel guilty for saying it's not that good.

I predict siren's curse to open first. Cedar fair never messed around installing coasters quickly and I don't think the merger will change that. If TT2 isn't ready, siren's will be.

It doesn't tilt. The track is stationary the entire time. A tilt track has the track change position from a horizontal to a vertical post.

I rode the version in Disneyland. It is a MAJOR downgrade to Splash Mountain. Splash’s music and atmosphere was a perfect blend of both joyful and sinister, with easily Disney’s best music of all time. Tiana’s version is nothing but a couple scenes of dark grass with music from the movie. It has no tension or buildup. It’s just random.

BGT has a spinning coaster in Cobra’s Curse I would go with a GCI twister in that area as BGT does not have a wooden coaster. Though single rails and Infinitys are also great options but I think a woody is needed.

That is a dive coaster which is very popular coaster model. The difference is that on the dive, your train car is suspended looking down, but on a tilt coaster, the entire track piece tilts to connect to the drop. You are innocorrect.
