Teach ur child that your mum is working hard for the family's well being and for his/her future. Nurture the kid with growing social values as well. The child will adjust to the current evolved ecosystem, only then 25 years later the child as a grown up man will understand the "again evolved" ecosystem. Else its definitely going to be a chaos expecting a relaxed mind to receive and tolerate them at home. The current gen girls of toddlers or teens are definitely not growing up to sit at home. They are going to do more than any woman achievers of today. Ours fathers came home relaxed after their office duty. Our husbands are coming home with stress. Think about the situation of the next gen boys, what they will endure in the outside world and come home. Do not burden the girls at home or the working girls who are also coming home stressed. Better get evolved and teach kids about values and kindness, according to how the society grows. I knew mothers who gave lectures like these are crying of their wasted education after the child grows, especially when they analyse and understand that the kid raised by working mother is better behaving and well mannered than the kid raised by relaxed mind moms at home. After a certain age, kids will learn values from society. They dont lend their ears to us, even when you are ready to offer it. Pros and cons remains for all situations. It all depends on whats our need and priority. So do not keep the working mothers always on guilt. Many homemakers are purposely doing such comments. No one criticised our grandmother gen and our mother gen for working, but when our gen started working, we were told - we dont prioritise child and called as selfish. We worked with guilt, but now we knew the results and fruits of it. Years later, i am telling to all new moms, its a coverup by educated homemakers for wasting their education and somehow want to prove they are also brainy at home and nothing less comparing to us. Do not fall for it and feel guilty. Take help and as far as possible balance the family and do what you want to do for the betterment of your family. The struggle is real for some years. But do it if thats a necessary for u. My suggestion will apply for middle class who wants to raise their standards. If you are rich enough to stay at home, and if your son is still growing rich enough to ask his wife to stay to home (at 2045), this is not for you.
